THE GUIDE · FOUR PANELS
The view
The game walks you through one manicure at a time. You pick a style to aim for — cute, ocean, bright — then a nail shape and length, then colour: flat shades, gradients, finishes with an effect on them. After that come stickers and small details, finger by finger, until the hand is done and you add a ring.
At the end you take a photograph of the result. There is no score chasing you and nothing to lose. The only pressure in the whole game is your own taste, which is an unusual thing for a browser game to be built around.
The keys
Tap or click to pick a polish or a sticker and to apply it. Hold and drag to paint. On a computer the mouse does all of it, though the game was clearly designed for a finger.

Early notes
- ·Settle the shape and length first. Everything after that is decoration sitting on top of that decision.
- ·Gradients read better on longer shapes; short nails carry flat colour better.
- ·Dragging with a finger is steadier than dragging with a mouse, so a phone is the better seat for this one.
- ·Finish the whole hand before you take the photograph. A single unfinished nail is all anyone will look at.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, on Poki.
Do I need to be good at drawing?
No. Colours, gradients and stickers are chosen and applied, not drawn freehand.
Is it better on a phone?
It was built for touch, so yes, though a mouse works.
THE HONEST HALF
Who it's good company for
Anyone who wants to make something rather than beat something, and players who like a clear sequence of steps.
Two things to weigh
- ·Each sitting is one manicure. There is no wider progression holding the sittings together.
- ·The structure is the same every time; what changes is the decoration you are offered.
END OF THE REEL
The game itself runs on Poki
This page is a guide, not the game. The link below opens the game's own page on poki.com in a new tab. Poki is a separate company with its own terms, privacy policy and advertising, and nothing on this site runs, hosts or imitates the game.
